We're excited to announce our upcoming Road Running Camp, designed for athletes competing in events ranging from 10k to the marathon distance.
 
Strategically scheduled one month before the Gold Coast Marathon, this camp is perfect for those preparing to hit the start line, but it’s also ideal for anyone looking to level up their road running in a supportive, fun environment.
 
📅 Dates: Friday, 6 June to Sunday, 8 June 2025
📍 Location: Yungaburra, in the beautiful Atherton Tablelands—our trusted base for past camps.
 
What to Expect:
Structured Training: Speed sessions, threshold work, and long runs, all tailored to race distances.
Testing: Lactate testing, VO2max speed, max speed, and strength assessments (jumps).
Speed Work:
The weekend will be busy, with different speed sessions for each group.
The 5-10km group will focus on speed development and race pace.
Marathon runners will work on threshold and marathon pace.
Race Nutrition: Marathoners will refine their race-day nutrition strategies to ensure everything is dialed in for upcoming events.
Recovery: Plenty of food, rest, and mobility sessions to help you bounce back between efforts. Cold water recovery swims will also be part of the plan.
Talks & Workshops:
Deep dive into energy systems (aerobic system, lactate, etc.) to better understand your training.
Open to suggestions—if there’s a topic you’d like covered, let us know!
Delicious meals to fuel your weekend (all provided, except Saturday night’s dinner at a local restaurant).
